Episode 47: Actuaries Leading AI Adoption with Jared Spowart

“The real value in [AI], I think, comes from realising that you can use it as a teacher, or as a coach or an advisor, and you think about the role of a human teacher versus a human assistant, that's two very different roles.

Getting AI to teach you means that you're developing a new skill, you're developing a broader range of skills.

I love that idea so much of AI as a teacher because if you're utilising AI to teach you more skills, have a more diverse skill set to be more adaptable, well then you're utilising AI to help you become less susceptible to being replaced by AI.”
